Further along the canal

Our last walk along the canal took us from Little Bloxwich to Yorks Bridge at The Fingerpost in Pelsall, this week we started at Yorks Bridge and went further. It was a lovely, quiet walk and I took a few photos along the way.

We "Make" it to High Bridge Bridge! Does anyone else think there is one too many Bridges in that name?? :)

A little further along I was fascinated to find Buddleia growing in the edge of the canal...

It was lovely to see a family of swans at the Slough Railway Bridge...

...and we had a lovely handful of blackberries each just along the overgrown path here...

A few more photos along the way...

A canal in Pelsall

We have some lovely stretches of canal in Walsall, so pretty and peaceful. We parked up at Grenfell Road in Little Bloxwich and joined the canal on Stoney Lane and walked towards the Pelsall Junction bridge. In minutes it feels like you are in the countryside....

What a lovely place to sit.
 You see some lovely flora......

and fauna.......
